Role Description
As a Backend Engineering Intern, you’ll work directly with our AI and engineering teams to develop and enhance our intelligent load dispatch system. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world logistics challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based microservices that power our AI agent infrastructure
- Implement APIs that facilitate communication between our AI agents and frontend applications
- Assist in designing and optimizing algorithms for load matching and routing optimization
- Work with machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into production systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of Websockets
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Familiarity with message queuing systems
