AI Platform Backend Intern

Role Description

As a Backend Engineering Intern, you’ll work directly with our AI and engineering teams to develop and enhance our intelligent load dispatch system. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world logistics challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based microservices that power our AI agent infrastructure
• Implement APIs that facilitate communication between our AI agents and frontend applications
• Assist in designing and optimizing algorithms for load matching and routing optimization
• Work with machine learning engineers to integrate AI models into production systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Deep understanding of Websockets
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Familiarity with message queuing systems
